The FitSeal adhesion respirator, born after 5 years of R&D at leading universities and laboratories, is the next generation in personal respiratory protection. Its patent-pending technology enables it to mold to most facial contours to form an adhesion seal between the respirator and the face, minimizing the leakage common to conventional respirators that are held in place by straps or rubber bands. Fitseal is the first and only one-size-fits-all (conforming to almost all facial contours) adhesion filtering facepiece respirator approved by NIOSH under rule 42 CFR Part 84. Fitseal provides unsurpassed respiratory protection from disease-causing bacteria, viruses, and toxic dust particles. Additional test requirements included a fit test in a corn oil atmosphere to test the face-seal integrity.
