An established New York antique rug gallery specializing in high-end decorative rugs, is seeking Field Sales Representatives. The position will entail selling quality rugs to interior designers and architects as well as exclusive home decorating /
furniture & antique galleries. The applicant must have prior knowledge in
working with interior decorators, architects, high-end home furnishing
and or fabric / textile stores. He or she must be comfortable
interacting with existing and potential clients.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in at least one of the following: interior decorating, high-end textile retail sales, antiques, accessories, rugs or art.
-Knowledge of high-end retail sales.
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Established contacts in our target market
-Ability to sell consistently and develop new accounts
-Strong work ethic
