Our product is a Unique Patented Design Created to Ease and Simplify the Decoupling of Tractors from Trailers Equipped with Jost Safety Release Mechanism Fifth Wheel Releases.
The Jost safety release fifth wheel is an exceptionally fine product, from an innovative premium manufacturer. However, the Jost design can be Very Difficult to Operate, and can lead to Operator Injury Due to the Requirements of the 'up-over-and out' movement required. Rotator Cuff Injuries are among those Known to Happen as a result of operating the Jost release.
Our product Removes this Issue of Operator Difficulty and Strenuousness for the Jost, and operates all other fifth wheel devices as well. It is a sturdy 'lifetime' tool built of 1/2" welded steel, and is available in a variety of finishes, including powder coating. Fleet, or driver, names and unique serial numbers are available to identify and control the asset.
