By 1971 we were selling mens belts to major dept.stores like Jorden Marsh, Filienes, Chess King stores and even other manufactures.
Buy the mid 70's we took all our skills and developed a full line of motorcycle products. From saddlebags to vests and chaps. We were the company to market chaps to the bikers first. Before bikers wore leather paints, which forced them to were them all day. But with chaps they could take them off after they got to were they wanted.
By the late 80's early 90's there was too much compatition and everything was going over seas. We now feel the time is right, lots of Americans want to by American. We are targeting to take 5 to 10% of the U.S. market over the next 5 years.
We have long since moved out of our manufacturing building and have been selling only retail for the past 18 years. So getting the production up will take time but we have the equpment to make several million belts a year.
We intend to add and modernize over the next few years. We will in 2010 be going to major trade showes to show our goods. Our commission structure will be straight 10% but we will discount 2% for 1% for quanity discounts. The salesman will give up 1% for every 3%.
